they never answer there phones, you cant make an appointment anymore'you need to ring on the day ( sit there for hours on the phone waiting for an answer )then you cant get in unless the dr decides you need to'i went in today at 15.30 to get a DR's note, and there was just 5 people waiting to see a doctor.the place is a joke no wonder people go to AnE when you cant get to see a DR..one doctor told me once to get out and back to work, when the company DR told me to i should not be working...well im moveing from the practice ASAP...........

Once you are fortunate enough to get an appointment either to see a doctor or for a triage nurse/doctor to ring you back the service is good. Trying to get through on the telephone is an absolute nightmare. Started ringing at 08.00hrs and did not get through until 16.30hrs. I was advised to ring back at 08.00hrs the following morning unless I was prepared to give some details of my condition to the receptionist.

had a appointment yesterday fri 29th may for my elderly mum for blood pressure check as she was ill over the bank holiday , the appointment was 2 oclock when we arrived the receptionist said it was 3.20 I said no 2 oclock she went in the back and spoke to someone and came back and told us to sit down. nurse helen called us in at 2.30 checked her blood pressure and when she had finished I started to put mums cardigan on as she is 80 and in a wheelchair and the nurse said can you put that on outside as she had other patients to see as they had fitted us in. which was wrong as we had a appointment booked for 2. which the dr had requested.

The phone line is constantly engaged in the mornings. If you turn up at the surgery wanting an appointment that day, because you can'take get through on the phone. The next available appointment might not be until later that morning, which means you have to go home and then come back again. If you don't drive, or feel unwell it is not a desirable situation. As far as I'm aware this is the only practice that you are unable to get through to on the phone and get a same day appointment.
